Colindale has changed faster than almost anywhere in north-west London. Built on the old Hendon Aerodrome — the “cradle of aviation” where Claude Grahame-White set up the London Aerodrome in 1911, now home to the RAF Museum — it’s become one of the city’s biggest regeneration zones.
