Locksmith work for Ickenham homes

Ickenham is one of Hillingdon’s more affluent villages, and it still feels like one — the old centre sits around the village green, the Old Pond and the pump at the junction of Swakeleys Road and Long Lane, with the 17th-century Jacobean mansion Swakeleys House nearby. Most of the modern suburb went up after 1,382 acres of the Swakeleys estate were sold for housing in 1922, so around the old core you’ve got period cottages and Victorian terraces, and on the wider roads the substantial 1930s Metroland semi-detached and detached homes.

That gives Ickenham a real mix of lock work. On the period cottages and village-core homes it’s heritage-sympathetic upgrades — insurance-approved British Standard (BS3621) locks on original timber doors. On the larger 1930s houses it’s British Standard and anti-snap cylinders plus a proper security check across the several ways in bigger homes have. Whatever your door, I match the lock to it and to what your insurer actually needs.
