My name is Andrew and I am a Qualified Master Locksmith in Harrow.

I’m Andrew, a fully qualified Master Locksmith and a member of the Master Locksmiths Association (MLA), based in Harrow with many years’ experience. I’m also DBS-checked, which matters when you’re letting someone into your home, and when I’m working in schools, hospitals and occupied buildings.

I work independently, so when you call, you get me, the person who’ll actually turn up and do the job, not a call centre passing your details to whoever’s nearest. No call-out fee, honest advice, and a fixed price agreed before I start. Nothing gets added on afterwards.

I take real pride in the craft. The key in my logo is real. I cut it by hand

See the key in my logo? That’s not a graphic a designer made. It’s a real brass key, and I cut it by hand myself, the “A” shape and all, with the files you can see in the photo. There’s only one, and no one else in the world has a copy. I’m a locksmith because I love the craft: cutting, picking and understanding locks, not just selling them.

Training Harrow Fire Station’s firefighters

In December 2025 Harrow Fire Station asked me down to the station to spend a session with six of their firefighters. We went through how modern cylinder locks actually work, how to tell a good one from a bad one, and how to get through a locked door without wrecking it.

They turn up for us on the worst days of our lives. Spending an afternoon explaining what is inside a lock is the least I can do.

This is my Qualified Master Locksmith certificate, awarded to me by the British Locksmith Institute, the training arm of the Master Locksmiths Association. Certificate No. 2352. It means the work you get is done to a recognised professional standard.
