Emergency Locksmith in Harrow

Emergency Locksmith in Harrow

Short answer: emergency labour starts at £89 (£99 evenings, £120 overnight), with no call-out fee and no VAT. You get a fixed price agreed before I start — no “the price went up when I got here.”

Locked out, snapped a key, or come home to a forced door? I’m a Harrow-based emergency locksmith and I’ll come out to you – £89 labour in standard daytime hours, no call-out fee, no VAT. Evenings and nights cost a little more (all shown on my prices page), and I quote you the full price before I start.

I answer my own phone. When you call, you’re talking to me – Andrew, the person who’ll actually turn up – not a call centre passing your job to whoever’s nearest.

Lockouts

Key lost, snapped in the lock, or shut inside – homes, flats, shops and offices.

Faulty or seized locks

A lock that’s jammed, spinning or won’t throw the bolt – wooden, composite or uPVC.

After a break-in

I make your property secure again the same visit and fit new locks where the old ones were forced.

Snapped or stuck keys

A key sheared off in the barrel, or a worn key that’s stopped turning.

Locked out? Here’s what to do before you call

  1. Check every other door and window first – a back door or a ground-floor window left on the latch solves it more often than you’d think.
  2. Don’t force it. Shouldering a uPVC door or levering a window usually costs more to repair than the lockout would have cost to solve.
  3. If a neighbour or family member has a spare, that’s your cheapest fix – always worth a quick call.
  4. Still stuck? Call me. Tell me the door type (uPVC, wooden, composite) and send a photo of the lock if you can. I carry the full kit as standard, so this is just so I can give you a straight price before I set off.

In most cases I get you back in without damaging your door or lock – I pick and manipulate locks rather than drilling them, so you’re not paying for a new lock you didn’t need. Where a lock genuinely can’t be opened non-destructively, I’ll tell you that up front, and why.

When can I come out?

My normal hours are 8am–10pm on weekdays and 10am–7pm at weekends, and I take emergency call-outs outside those hours too. I won’t promise a fixed “24/7” line – you’d be trusting a slogan, not a person – but if you’re locked out late at night, call me and I’ll tell you honestly whether I can get to you and how soon.

I’m based in Harrow and travel to the surrounding areas at no extra costWatford, Hillingdon, Barnet, Brent, Ealing, Three Rivers and Hertsmere. Even if you’re just outside, still call – I’ll always try to help.
